Current practice

Milli practises in administrative, human rights and public law.  Milli provides advice and conducts litigation across a wide range of subject areas, including merits and judicial review, professional discipline and regulation, victims of crime, matters involving the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities and statutory interpretation.
Milli is Chair of the Law Institute of Victoria's Community Issues Committee, in addition to sitting on the Executive Committee of LIV Young Lawyers and the Victorian Women Lawyers Women in Government Committee.  Milli also volunteers as a refugee caseworker at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
Prior to joining the VGSO, Milli worked at a large commercial law firm, where she worked on major High Court and Supreme Court litigation.  She has previously worked at the Australian Mission to the United Nations in New York City, where she negotiated on a range of international legal issues, and in 2014 was selected to intern with Representative Alcee L. Hastings of the United States Congress (Washington DC).
During her legal studies, Milli received awards including a Monash University scholarship and the DLA Piper Prize for Civil Procedure.
