Current practice

Oliver's practice includes drafting and advisory work in the areas of commercial, governance, privacy and trusts law.  Oliver is an active member of the Land, Planning & Environment, Data Protection, and Projects and Procurement Practice Groups.


Oliver has worked on a broad range of matters relating to public inquiries, statutory interpretation, contract drafting and management, privacy law, the structuring and establishment of new government entities, governance of government organisations and charitable trusts.  

Prior to joining the VGSO, Oliver worked as a paralegal at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers in class actions.  He has volunteered widely, including at the Public Interest Law Clearing House and as a Committee Member on the Law Institute of Victoria's LIV Out and for Charities and not-for-profit Committees.
