Rodney's present specialist areas of practice at VGSO include advising Infringement Management Enforcement Services (IMES), in particular the Sheriff of Victoria and Asset Confiscation Operations, in relation to operational and litigation issues. Providing advice to the Attorney-General, in his role as the protector of charity, relating to issues arising in the administration of charities and under wills forms a significant part of his work. He also conducts litigation on behalf of the Director of Housing in relation to claims for personal injury arising from exposure to asbestos.
Since starting at VGSO Rodney has worked in the areas described above. His extensive experience prior to joining the VGSO in 2007 includes nineteen years at the Bar where he had a wide civil practice. His work experience outside the law includes education and, very briefly, broadcasting. He listens to a lot of music, tries to read a book now and then, and gets a bit of exercise.
