Current practice

Ronan practises in employment law, industrial relations, occupational health and safety and anti-discrimination at the VGSO.  Ronan provides advice and guidance on workplace relations issues, as well as conducts litigation in jurisdictions including the Fair Work Commission, VCAT and State and Federal Courts.

Experience

Prior to joining the VGSO, Ronan worked as an in-house lawyer for an Australian Government department in Canberra.  Ronan advised on public sector employment and industrial relations matters, including termination, machinery of government processes and collective bargaining.  Ronan has also advised on administrative, commercial and privacy law matters and conducted merits review litigation in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Ronan has previously volunteered at a community legal centre in Melbourne's south-east and completed an internship with the Victorian Parliament.
