The Technology & Data Protection Practice Group provides legal services across all aspects of the development, procurement and use of intellectual property and information and communications technology in the public sector. This includes advising on major projects and systems procurements, negotiating and drafting robust and practical contracts, advising on probity, risk and contract management issues, and working with project and contract managers on a diverse range of day to day operational issues.  The Practice Group's work includes information management, data security and privacy; funding and licensing agreements for government intellectual property, data and databases; branding and online communications, social media and mobile apps; and specialist copyright and other intellectual property advice.
