Sophie is a commercial lawyer who provides advice on a broad range of issues, including tendering and procurement, contract drafting and negotiation, contract management and governance.
Sophie joined the VGSO in 2019 and has experience in a range of commercial matters including procurement, privacy and data breaches, funding and other commercial agreements and statutory interpretation.
Sophie's clients include a range of Departments and statutory authorities. Prior to joining VGSO, Sophie worked in boutique commercial law firms and as in‑house counsel for the Australian, New Zealand and Papua Guinean branch of a global company. In these roles, she advised publicly listed companies, small and medium size enterprises, start-ups and not-for profit companies.
