About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the VGSO strategic plan and provide ongoing support to through driving efficiencies and ongoing improvement across the accounting and finance function.
Reporting to the Accounting and Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant has primary responsibility for the preparation and reconciliation of monthly financial information. Furthermore, the Financial Accountant will be a key stakeholder in delivering performance reporting to branches within the VGSO and have the opportunity to be involved in finance and business-wide initiatives and projects

Key responsibilities of the Financial Accounting role include:

  • Month end close process and reconciliations
  • Preparation of monthly reports to Executive Leadership Team
  • Budgets and forecasting including variance analysis
  • Business performance analysis including utilisation

 

About you
The successful applicant will have a minimum of three years' experience in a finance and accounting environment. This person will be tertiary qualified in accounting and CA or CPA qualified.
