Current practice

Alison advises and represents a range of government clients including Victoria Police, the Department of Education and Training, Corrections Victoria and the Attorney-General's Office. Alison's practice includes personal injury claims, police civil claims, public interest immunity issues and breach of contract claims.

Alison is experienced in conducting proceedings in the High Court, Supreme Court, Country Court and in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. 


Prior to joining the VGSO, Alison worked as Associate, and later Senior Associate to the Honourable Justice Jack Forrest of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Following her associateship, Alison worked as a solicitor at Mills Oakley in the Commercial Disputes and Insolvency team. There she was involved in a variety of matters, including complex property litigation, negligence claims, corporate insolvency and class actions.
