Current practice

Laura's practice focuses on personal injury claims, police tort claims, coronial inquests and applications and reviews under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to Be Tried) Act 1997. Laura's clients include the Department of Justice and Regulation, Victoria Police, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority and the Attorney-General's Office.


Laura has also worked at the Crown Solicitor's Office in South Australia, where, as a Solicitor, she managed litigation relating to the Children in State Care Commission of Inquiry and applications under the Victims of Crime Act 2001 (SA). Laura was also seconded to the South Australian Department of Further Education, Science and Technology where she was a member of the in-house legal team working on general commercial and advice matters.
