Current practice

Linsey's current practice involves representing a range of clients including Victoria Police, Corrections Victoria and the Department of Health and Human Services in personal injuries claims in both the County and Supreme Courts.  Linsey also advises and acts for the Attorney-General in vexatious litigant proceedings and matters under the Crimes (Mental Impairment and Unfitness to be Tried) Act 1997.  


Prior to joining the VGSO in 2015, Linsey worked as a government lawyer providing complex and authoritative advice to state government departments and agencies in the areas of administrative law, statutory interpretation, compliance and the use of investigative and coercive powers.  Before being admitted, Linsey worked as a paralegal in Edinburgh, Scotland on a government inquiry.
