Current practice

Stephanie's current practice involves providing advice and conducting litigation for a variety of government clients on questions of constitutional law, statutory interpretation and other public law matters.


Stephanie joined the VGSO as a trainee lawyer in 2017.  Since then, she has worked on a broad range of advice and litigation matters.  She was admitted to professional legal practice in May 2018.  

Stephanie undertook a secondment to the Country Fire Authority in 2018.  Stephanie also undertook a secondment to Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre in 2017, where she worked on a range of matters including infringements.

During her legal studies, Stephanie completed internships at the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials in Cambodia and the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency in Katherine.  Stephanie received the Supreme Court Exhibition Prize for her honours thesis on involuntary detention under the Mental Health Act 2014.
