Current practice

Will practices in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and enjoys a broad portfolio of work.  He acts in major tort claims including negligence, defamation and professional indemnity proceedings in the County and the Supreme Courts of Victoria.  He also acts in general commercial, regulatory and administrative law matters including debt recovery actions and matters arising under the Australian Consumer Law.

Experience

Will is an accomplished litigator, having acted in disputes at all stages of the litigation process.  He is familiar with both adversarial and inquisitorial jurisdictions, having acted in several Inquests and Royal Commissions.

Will's clients include the Department of Justice and Community Safety, the Attorney-General's Department, Victoria Police, the Office of the Racing Integrity Commissioner, the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Will understands the many and varied challenges faced by Government.  He has been seconded to Victoria Police and the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority, and has worked for the Legal Services Commissioner, the Department of Health and Human Services and Consumer Affairs Victoria as part of the Victorian Public Service Graduate Recruitment Program.

Will graduated from Monash University in 2010 with Honours in Arts and Law.  He worked briefly as a policy adviser before being admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 2013.
