The Land, Planning and Environment Practice Group acts in contentious and non-contentious matters in relation to public land and resources. We have expert teams working in planning, environment, land valuation and compulsory acquisition, property, heritage and Aboriginal cultural heritage regulation, native title and resources. Our practice includes advising on regulatory compliance, agreement and legislative drafting, mediation, arbitration and litigation. Our work extends to diverse but related areas such as mining, forestry, energy emissions, project development, planning scheme amendments, urban renewal and contaminated land. We also have a full conveyancing practice for government departments and agencies that advises on all Crown land issues as well as drafting commercial and residential leases and licences.
